After most rehearsals many of us go for a drink or pub meal after Sunday rehearsals, at a venue within walking distance of South Street. Some go on to take part in the Sunday quiz at the Wynford. |

The weekend after our May concert we had met in the Dove (closure of the Dove was a sad loss to us) and walked to Kings Meadow for a picnic by the Thames. After our December concert we had Christmas Dinner in a Reading restaurant, which was very well organised and which all of us enjoyed. In the warmer months our Music Director hosted "bring fare to share" afternoon Garden Parties at his home. We also organised trips to see plays, some at the Kenton theatre in Henley, and to hear other choirs including Reading's Phoenix Choir. |
